Boat is Home Again....Let's Try This Again! 3/25/25
by Capt Juls on 03/25/25I couldn't go and get the boat yesterday, because I had forgotten about a grooming appt for my Golden, and if you use a groomer...you know, how long you have to wait to reschedule a pet. Since it was very windy yesterday, I opted to keep his appt, and go get the boat this morning.
I hit the road at 7am...hit the gas station to get some air in a tire that was too low for my liking, and then headed east to New Franklin, where the main "Fisherman's Central" store is located, and where they have their service dept. The sky was clear this morning, so the Sun was blinding at times, until it got high enough to stay behind the truck's visor.
After hitting town, I stopped at the car wash to get the dirt and dust off my truck. I didn't want a dirty truck pulling a showroom clean sparkly Vexus down the highway, when I headed home. ;)
The store opens at 9am, and I had timed it perfectly....somehow... I arrived at 8:58.
I brought the boat home again, and will attempt to break in the big motor on Thursday, when the next wind forecast looks decent enough, to go put two hours on it.
I may not have been fishing, but I am happy to say, that I did get all my gardens ready for planting, so at least that's done. My body is very sore, but the task is done. Yay! :)
Stay tuned....
